Koho
Koho is a Canadian company boosting a financial app used every day for cash deposits, digital debit and to improve users credit score.
We were approached to create an animation illustrating how the new KOHO app is working in a way both playful and engaging.

The client was immediately oriented toward a maze run and we were provided with some AI generated stillframes from KOHO marketing and design team.
Whereas the stillframes were good visual options, they weren’t addressing the specifics of the brand and in my view, both brand and app should have been a vital part of the environment.

The concept behind the animation is exactly that: to delve into the app, where menus, icons and even the wordmark itself become interactive parts of the maze.
Therefore the run and the animation as a whole are not just a colorful experience, but a visual representation of a user exploring the app.
